I remember working at a digital only ad agency in San Francisco from 1999–2001 and the only creative department employee over 40 was one of the best copywriters we had. I have to admit that my first instinct was to question whether this person “got” the internet at the time, but the second I saw her work, any question was moot. More importantly, she taught me ways to approach work that helped me be a better art director as well as see potential for my own future.
