My experience was indicative of someone who gave it a shot and played long enough to understand what was being presented. The vast majority who felt the way you presented gave up almost immediately. I’m not saying they are wrong, I’m saying they never gave it a shot or tried to learn/understand it. It wasn’t perfect and there are several things I think could be improved (and that have been stated to have been improved), but the first impressions were mostly whiny grumblings, not serious takes.

I’m saying they probably would have enjoyed it had they given it a fair chance instead of judging it on preconceived notions or on hopes for specific changes never promised.
