Resilience is a great trait to have and can enable you to progress very far in life. From a naturalistic perspective, I beg to differ on the notion that resilience isn’t necessarily innate and among every human being at the early stages of life. Resilience can be a learn process, but instinctively, also one that’s already there. Of course people can develop more resilience by continuously not giving up at strenuous adversity, but it’s still embedded in one’s mind from the moment they were born.
