Cities are not dark, terrible places.

Cities are beacons of hope. They are melting pots of ideas. Incubators of innovation. And a home for dreamers.

Donald Trump would like us to believe that cities are full of death and fear. That they are crumbling apart. That they are the dark stains on the American map.

Well, they aren’t.

They are the bright spots. A shining light for the future.

Cities are where entrepreneurs go to build tomorrow.

Cities are where communities are formed.

Where we look out for one another.

We rebuild when we fall.

We come together when a challenge confronts us.

We rise together.

Cities are a strong place in America, and there is no room for fear. We are already too busy designing tomorrow.
