Don’t feed the beast.
Creativity takes patience.
Don’t create in haste in order to meet a deadline.
Don’t create in a rush in order to appeal to the masses.
Ideas are ugly. They are scary. They are original.
If all you are doing is feeding the beast, you won’t be able to grow any of these ideas.
Brilliance takes time. It requires effort and exploration. In order to create work that will inspire, work that will move people, work that will make an impact, you must not feed the beast.
Instead, feed your soul and your heart.
