So why do you want to be creative?

If you don’t have an answer, you likely won’t get very far.

Before you embark on this journey. Before you leave the comfort of your everyday life. Before you decide that you want to both be creative and live a creative life, you must dive within.

You must have a reason. You must have a purpose. You must have your why.

The paths you will take and explore on your journey to creativity will be long and filled with many obstacles. You will fall and fail a lot. There will be many dark valleys on your trek. Your purpose, your why, carries you through this. It finds the speckle of light hidden in the darkness and creates a spark. A spark that lights the path ahead. A spark that ignites you to carry on.

Creativity comes from the heart. We create, not because we want to, but because we need to. Creating without the heart isn’t creating. You need the emotion. You need the pain. The joy. All of it. Your heart fuels your work. It fuels your creative life. Without it, you have nothing.

Your reason. Your purpose. Your why. It all stems from your heart.

So I ask you again, why do you want to be creative?
