What the hell is “normal”?

I live a life of passion. A life of entrepreneurship. A life of creativity.

Of endless curiosity that fuels my soul.

Of late nights and early mornings. Few hours of sleep.

What is a “9–5”? What is a “cubicle”?

Why would anyone want one of those?

It’s such a funny word. It literally means a small partitioned-off area of a room. I don’t want to be disconnected from the rest of the room. I want to be as connected as possible with my surroundings. As long as I’m connected to people who are ignited by passion, who are following their dreams, who are chasing a vision, I’m happy.

I don’t understand an endless pursuit of money that will never feel like enough. I don’t understand a journey for material things that will never end.

I like a journey of experiences. One where I grow. One where I venture off the beaten path to discover what hasn’t been seen before. One where I venture off the beaten path to change the world.

It gets lonely in the vast empty wasteland called the extra mile though. I always wonder why everyone else stops at that old road stop site called “comfort zone”. It seems so average and dull. Nothing ever seems to grow there.

I guess I just don’t understand what “normal” is.

Who would ever want to live a life that is “normal”? “Normal” is overrated.

Why would you ever want to live a “normal” life, when you can live a life that is exceptional. A life that is full of awe-inspiring ecstasy. A life that is true to you. A life that is fueled with your passion.
