Earlier today, we announced our unique Cross-Chain bridge for users and projects to list, provide liquidity and trade every ERC20 based asset on BurgerSwap.

The BurgerSwap bridge allows users and projects to seamlessly convert any ERC20 token to a wrapped bToken issued on Binance Smart Chain, which then can be listed on BurgerSwap to trade and provide liquidity.

The BurgerSwap bridge is able to issue a bToken out of each ERC20 token and list it on BurgerSwap. bTokens are collateralized cross-chain assets issued on Binance Smart Chain.

How to trade Ethereum based assets on Binance Smart Chain?

If you have not used BurgerSwap or any other Binance Smart Chain application before with Metamask, you should first set up Binance Smart Chain on your MetaMask.

Here you can read how you interact with Binance Smart Chain through MetaMask. Or just check out the infographic below.

To convert ERC20 assets to BEP20 you first need to connect with the Main Ethereum Network as the underlying chain. if you want to swap from BEP20 to ERC20, change to the Binance Smart Chain network .

In this example we will show you how to convert an ERC20 asset to BEP20.

1. Go to the “Bridge” tab and select the ERC20 asset and amount you want to convert. Here we use SUSHI as an example. Click on “Create crosschain assets”.

2. MetaMask will ask you to confirm the transaction. Don’t forget to check if the Gas fee exceeds your expectation. Then confirm the transaction.

The cross-chain transaction fees will be charged when you receive the cross-chain assets on Binance Smart Chain. The total transaction fee includes a handling fee of 0.05 BNB and Gas fee in ETH, generated from on-chain trading.

3, After your transaction is confirmed, open MetaMask and change the underlying chain to Binance Smart Chain.

4. Scroll down to the bottom of the Bridge page to find your transaction in the Transit record. Click on Receive.

5. MetaMask will pop up again, asking you to confirm the transaction.

6. Copy the contract address from the Transit record and add it as a new token to your MetaMask.

7. Your bSUSHI will show in your MetaMask after the transaction is confirmed.

Next up we will show you how to list, provide liquidity and trade your bTokens on BurgerSwap.

Stay tuned!
