Viktor Trón joins Flying Carpet as advisor

I’m very delighted and honoured to welcome Viktor Tron as the first advisor of the Flying Carpet ( which is part of a new decentralised autonomous transportation protocol and was first presented at the Ethereum Devcon 3 Cancun. Viktor (@zeligf ) is one of the first employees of the Ethereum Foundation and the main developer behind Swarm.

Swarm is one of the three major protocols of Ethereum. Swarm is a distributed storage platform and content distribution service, a native base layer service of the ethereum web3 stack. The primary objective of Swarm is to provide a decentralized and redundant store for dapp code and data as well as block chain and state data. Swarm is also set out to provide various base layer services for web3, including node-to-node messaging, media streaming, decentralised database services and scalable state-channel infrastructure for decentralised service economies. A fantastic video of Viktor talking about his personal life, Ethereum and Swarm can be found here.

Swarm and Flying Carpet share the same values and will focus on building a Swarm of decentralised autonomous systems to help people and society in general. Viktor will advise about the future of Flying Carpet’s architecture and protocol.

On the side I usually end up spending hours talking with Viktor about artificial intelligence, simulation worlds, quantum physics, math etc.
