BoatPilot — set sails with skipper.travel

We continue to cover main components of BoatPilot ecosystem — now it’s time to have a look at skipper.travel. The name may sound unfamiliar to users that follow our project from the very beginning, but don`t worry — it’s the good old PocketSkipper. We decided to change the name, as skipper.travel better reflects the app’s utility.

Skipper.travel is the third component of BoatPilot eco-system, that makes user experience comfortable and convenient. Now it’s not necessary to have several separate apps for everything you may need during sailing — skipper.travel combines all those functions. Users of the app can gain easy access to any yachting related service: tour proposals, vessel renting, marina reservations, etc. Weather service function will be moved to BoatPilot navigation app, as this info is more relevant for navigation itself.

Sharing features similar to AirBNB and TripAdvisor, skipper.travel is your indispensable companion in any travel. Cruise sails or long sailing trips, familiar waters or new territories — all necessary and actual information is aggregated in just one app. Skipper.travel is free for registered users, just download the program in one click. We are working to finalize skipper.travel as soon as possible, with the official release planned this year!
