I realised a long time ago that working with Salesforce involves accepting what you can’t change. I feedback on the limitations whenever I can, but work with what I have.
I really don’t think it’s down to privilege. Many people I’ve worked with who didn’t keep their skills up to date had plenty of time, but they just weren’t interested.
Excellent point. Plus CLIs lend themselves to iteration really well I find, so they can start off really basic as you are getting to grips with the language and then gain more features as confidence grows.
