April Showers, May Flowers, and June…?

We all know the classic saying, “April showers bring May flowers”. But what about June? What does June bring?

Well, we’ve decided that maybe it is a good thing June has been a bit left out. Because that brings a whole world of possibilities. In fact, in our eyes, this blank space is an opportunity for creativity. So, we have decided that June brings power.

Catchy right? April showers bring May flowers which leads us to June power.

June Power

Now let’s talk a bit about how we landed on this particular word (and no it is not just because it goes with the rhyme but that is a definite plus.)

It is because June did bring us a lot of power. Our founder Bobbie James completed her goal of walking a marathon! Which is a feat all on its own, but did we mention she set this goal to walk a marathon while she was 60; I mean talk about some serious power.

We also got the opportunity to partner with Kim Cruse for our upcoming Let’s Kick Cancer event on November 12th. If you have listened to her music (and if you haven't you most definitely need to) then you know she is an incredible vocal powerhouse. Which, boom, lends a hand to more of our June power.

Now, we’ve shared with you all the ways we have felt powerful this June, so now let’s talk about you!

How Can You Be Powerful?

In both of our power examples we felt powerful not only for what we accomplished, but also for the reason it was accomplished.

Our founder walked a marathon, which also doubled as a fundraiser which meant our nonprofit got some additional funding. And while we are so excited to hear Kim Cruse live, we are equally as excited for the audience she will attract that can help us raise money for our event beneficiary.

Simply put, we felt extra power because we knew we were working towards a cause much greater than ourselves.

And the most exciting part of all of this is that we want you to join us too!

June Power, Let’s Make it a Thing
