“Be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet. Make all your friends feel there is something special in them. Look at the sunny side of everything. Think only of the best, work only for the best, and expect only the best. Be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. Give everyone a smile. Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others. Be too big for worry and too noble for anger.”

-Christian D. Larsen

Every now and again, I come across a quote that completely captures the very best of what humanity has to offer. Today’s message is all about the elements that go into making the concept of living in the manner of such a quote possible. The best way to uncover the real value of information is to ask empowering questions. How do we become so strong that nothing disturbs our peace of mind? What might the benefit be of talking health, happiness, and prosperity with every person we meet? What do you suppose might happen if we helped our friends see what is special in them? How would our lives change if we shifted our focus and only thought of the best, expected the best, and worked on becoming the best version of ourselves? What if we became as enthusiastic about the success of others as we are about our own success? Imagine for a moment being able to put all your past mistakes behind you because you are totally focused on the greater achievements of the future!! What might change in your day and the day of others by simply giving everyone a smile? What would it be like to be so busy improving yourself that you have no time left in your day to even consider criticizing others? How would our lives be different if we were too big for worry and too noble for anger? This quote and the careful evaluation of the questions I have posed for consideration here, have the potential to completely change our lives! The one final question to consider is whether or not we are prepared for the answers and potential joy available to each of us from answering honestly and enthusiastically? As human beings, our greatest gift is free will. We get to live as we CHOOSE! Choose well!!!!!!
