In doing so, I wonder what it’s like to never have to worry if something is or is not happening simply because of the color of your skin. I wonder what it’s like to be called “Type A” and “assertive” rather than “scary” or a “bully” or a “thug.” I wonder what it’s like to be considered a “rebel” instead of “unprofessional.” I wonder what it’s like to not have someone insinuate that you’re “not strategic enough” or “we can’t lower the bar” when they are really using coded language to say “I think you’re stupid.” These mischaracterizations can easily spin out of control and it is difficult to unravel them from what is actually happening when things go wrong.
With Twitter, every moment is a Trump rally. Everyone in the connected world knows what this unhinged narcissistic compulsive liar is thinking at any given moment. More time, energy, thought and commentary have been given to his minute-by-minute inane bullshit than any other issue of the last two years. And a lot of important things happened in the last two years.
