The politics of these orbital cities seems very tenuous. Who gets to go? Which country do they belong to? Do they have governments? Etc. I had no idea that these stations were possible, but even if we could get the science and tech right, I wonder about the politics and social policy.

I applaud you for being bold. If artificial gravity space cities are really possible, then we should go for it. Even if they don’t work, it would be a fascinating adventure, and possibly a way for us all to get together.
