The Tyranny of Facts: Being “Right” is Not Enough

This is a challenge for both sides of the political spectrum. Ideology becomes a litmus test for self worth and moral superiority. This seems to be true for both liberals and conservatives.

No one has lived a universal life that allows them to be the source of all knowledge and opinion. People have had different experiences that lead the to their beliefs. A person who has become successful in society looks at the effects of capitalism differently than the person who has not. Neither one is universally “right” in their opinion.

These days people seem to listen to respond and not to learn.
