I think I’m seeing some confusion online between parallax and the vanishing point perspective. For example, the tops of buildings in a *single* aerial photo seem to fall away from the center. An example of that: https://www.instagram.com/p/CAMjdk-HpZi/

The other problem with “The OSCARS” logo at the top is, like banner ads, it desensitizes the mind, and trains you to skip over words to get to the part you care about.
The brain reads the top line, no that’s not it, skips it. Then it may scan ahead to the line emphasized in quotes. Quotes, huh, maybe that’s the part you’re supposed to speak, right?
