My First Collaborative Project in Masai School
Before starting my blog about my first project I would like to thank Masai and Team to give me an opportunity for working on a project with a team and for giving chance to learn a lot.
We tried to use all knowledge gained from Masai School and gave our best to come up with this project.
Strategy and challenges faced:
As discussed above it was our first project to make a clone of websites and before that we had just made small parts of websites in our assignments and we had to find out so much about more functionality of a website which is already on the web so we came up with our strategy for that. We first analyzed the original website and distributed the task among our team and everyone gave their best to make a replica of the website.
About Project:
Our goal was to create a replica of a website available on the internet known as maxfashion.com. Max fashion is an online shopping website that deals in clothes and accessories for men, women, girls and boys. First max store was established in UAE in 2004 and It came to India in 2006 and now it has reached 60 cities. We gave our level best to create replica of this website.
Tech Stacks Used:
Home Page -
- This is the main landing page of our website. Here clicking on any category on the Navbar will redirect the user to the respective Product Page.
- It is fully functional and responsive.
Sign up or Sign In From -
- Here we have a sign-in window that will appear if you will click on sign up or sign in button available on top right in the navbar.
- Here we integrate User authentication to check whether user mobile number and OTP sent matches with any user else it will create a new user in the database.
Our Basket page:
In the basket page all the products will be shown selected by users to purchase. Either the user can remove the product from the basket or he can proceed to payment.
Payment Page:
This is the layout of our payment page where you can choose any payment method.
Placed order page:
After placing order below screen will appear.

Learnings:
I feel I learned so much during this project. I learned how to work in a team and collaborate with team members. We have searched so much and we got some idea of how we have to work in an organization and how can we increase our skills in web development and how we search the help. Every team member gave their best and Suraj has also well managed the team. After this project, I am very confident to go ahead in my career and ready to gain more knowledge.
