They’ve added the actual score at the end now, which is very strange because I just tested two sites that received 1,000 across all categories and then had a traq score of 600 and 450.
Pretty ridiculous, but considering their biz model is to charge $5k min to understand your score, I can see why ambiguity would be profitable for them… kind of like “protection money”.
For the record we’ve lost campaigns running on inventory that IAS deemed 100% SAFE… so they are pretty worthless in my opinion, especially when they cause good sites to lose out on ad rev.
Better but not perfect solutions would be ForensIQ, DoubleVerify and eZanga, though each has it’s limitations and errors.
