SCAMPER

Substitute:

· Replace adjustable bike attachment piece with a ring which can be attached to the end of the stem

· replace rings and clasps with snaps

· Call it a “Multi-Purpose Phone Purse”

· Replace the adjustable bike attachment piece with a piece that is semi-permanently attached to the bike frame which the phone pouch snaps/clips onto

· Instead of having adjustable tabs, make the adjustable bike attachment somewhat elastic

· package and sell so that customers can choose if they would like 1,2, or 3 of the different attachment options to come with their pouch or even if they would just like the attachments

· Replace the rectangular shape with a circle or oval

Replace the adjustable bike attachment piece with a piece that is semi-permanently attached to the bike frame which the phone pouch snaps/clips onto. The semi-permanently fixed bike attachment fixes to the stem of the bike

Combine:

· Popsocket mounted phone pouch

· Combine wristlet and bike attachment

· Combine the pouch with more of a purse look

· Combine pouch with a fannypack

· Combine with a phone case so that the phone can take photographs and videos while in the phone pouch

· Combine with a wallet

· Combine with a penguin

· combine with a turn signal which shows which direction to turn while biking to a specific location

Adapt:

· Make it a high fashion purse where the phone is still usable without having to remove it from the purse

· Make it leather

· Make the clear plastic covering touchscreen

· Add a speaker to the pouch which the phone can plug into and play music loudly

· Add a hole for the headphone jack

· Add lights to it to make the biker more visible

·Make it waterproof and submersible under water

· make the pouch large enough for a tablet

· make the screen covering a magnifying glass

· make the crossbody strap wider and give it pockets

· shrink it to make it gopher sized

· enlarge it so that two phones can be placed into the pouch

Modify

· Add a wallet pocket to the pouch with slits for credit cards, coins, and paper money

· Give the pouch a kick stand so it can be used to watch media

· add another attachment which allows for the pouch to be mounted in a car

· give the sides of the pouch a grippy surface for easy handling

· Give it a cute kitty face and ears

· add means of charging the phone using the energy generated while biking

· Add a fannypack attachment option

Eliminate

· Remove the bike mount function

· Remove the allowance for crossbody and wrist straps

· Remove the extra space around the phone so it is just a slim pouch with a clear plastic cover over the phone screen

· just a case for the phone with a crossbody strap attachment and a bike mount attachment

· separate into 3 products: small crossbody purse, clutch with wristlet, bike phone mount

· Having to remove the phone from the pouch to answer a call

· Take out the wristlet attachment option

Slime, hard phone case with a wallet pocket and the same attachments instead of a pouch.

Reverse

· Simple bike mounted clamp for a phone with no extra storage or weather protection

· make the pouch touchscreen plastic except for the area over the phone which is opaque fabric

· have the zippers go all the way around the pouch

· have the zippers only go on the top of the pouch

· give it an outside pocket which is accessible without unzipping anything

· phone with a bike mounted on it

· make the pouch attach to the back of the bike

Rearrange

· purse with a touchscreen phone window

· phone pouch with a bike mounted on it

· Sell each attachment separately

· place the points to which all the attachments fix onto the underside of the pouch

· put the zipper on the backside of the pouch instead of around the side

· affix the phone to the outside of the pouch

· affix the attachments to the phone itself

Morphological Analysis

After deciding on the four criteria for a bike mounted phone holder, I thought of various products and materials which would each criteria. While brainstorming, I did not think according to how each material would work with a phone case, but rather, I thought of how a material or product would fit one of the four criteria. For example, hands hold phones or, how bee’s wax is water resistant.
