The replacement of convenience stores (or bodegas) by technology will only occur if the technology is more in demand. If the tech is indeed more in demand, then the original businesses should go defunct. I don’t understand the issue nor the outrage.

Cultural appropriation is not a justifiable thing to be offended about. If it were, then Europeans would have a lot of things to be offended about as without European culture, much of the world would still be in the Stone Age.
