#23 BOLT Vault: Broaden 9/4/2020
This Vault, we are excited to #broaden BOLT’s horizons through the signing of partnerships with VideoElephant and S&T Media. We also welcome two new team members, share how quarantine time has resulted in quality time on BOLT+ and recap last week’s AMA.
Reaching new horizons
BOLT is proud to announce partnerships with VideoElephant and S&T Media, which will help increase brand awareness and distribute BOLT’s originally-produced content far and wide, from Europe to Africa. Our collaborations will create another source of revenue for BOLT and help to inform our content strategy on the types of content that appeal to our audience. VideoElephant
A leading content aggregator and distributor, VideoElephant will distribute BOLT’s original and interactive sports content to their multitude of online web publishers and ad tech providers worldwide.
S&T Media
A rapidly-growing African digital advertising company, S&T Media will extend BOLT’s reach physically to millions of Africans through over 300 screens in gas stations in Kenya and Nigeria, as well as supermarkets in due course. BOLT will also repurpose content and features like Lightning Round to encourage token adoption and utility.

Burning of old ERC-20 tokens
As shared during our AMA, the swap to our new ERC-20 BOLT contract has commenced, we have burnt 716,808,099 OLD ERC-20 BOLT tokens which were previously held on Binance.com and in our team wallets. This Burn is the first as we progressively Swap and Burn returned BEP-2 and ERC-20 tokens throughout the Swap process, establishing the total supply of all BOLT tokens at 980.2m — equal to the existing BEP-2 supply. We will be announcing full details and timing for the swap process soon.
New Team Members
To help achieve BOLT’s ambitious vision, we are pleased to welcome two new members to the team, Ingvar and Lashan, who started work this week and next week respectively! For more info about BOLT, check out our new website — with more pages about the team coming soon.
Ingvar, Product Designer
Ingvar brings a wealth of experience, having worked in world-leading international companies in the blockchain (eg. TenX), fintech, professional services and more. Ingvar is based in Hong Kong, and has also lived in Singapore, Thailand and Sri Lanka. Ingvar uses the pronoun they/them and is interested in transculturalism, philosophy, psychology, exploration, experiences, design, hiking, cycling, rollerblading, surfing in their free time.

Lashan, Full Stack Developer
Lashan is a degree holder in Computer Science from Algoma University, and has worked as a Javascript developer for 2 years in Canada. Based in Canada, he’s passionate about creating truly beautiful and efficient digital products to make people’s experience with technology memorable.

There’s always a silver lining to every dark cloud, and even as the world slows down due to the outbreak, many individuals and families find themselves with increased quality time to spend with their families and to inform themselves online. Like most digital entertainment and tech companies, BOLT has seen an increase in user engagement with our content!
