Importance of Surveys

So, what I realized today when I was gulping down my everyday habitual coffee cup, was that surveys are actually very important!

Why so?

Why Surveys and does my opinion even change something?

So basically because I had a lot of spare time I thought I should do a little research on the matter. I found out that surveys are great for improving oneself or improving a product/service or a business by taking in consideration unbiased opinions.

But why does my vote matter? Well, you might think that one vote doesn’t matter, but stop and think for a second. Is that actually true? Researches and meta-analysis show that 70–80% of people thinking their vote doesn’t matter end up voting for the already winning pick on the survey without knowing it.

Yes but what if you have the opposite opinion, well the lifespan of a survey differs basically but some might continue through years, for example, the overall popularity of BMWs in Europe conducted through 5 years showed moving on the charts of every possible answer made on BMWs and so if in 2005 this car was popular but you didn’t like it and picked the opposing negative answer on the survey by the year 2008 you could be on the winning side. All this is crucially important for a brand or a product, let's say that you didn’t like BMWs in 2005 well even if more people answered positively your vote will be taken into consideration if percentages are close to the other pick in the survey. And by 2008 they will correct their mistakes.

Conclusively I should say this, without your opinion there is no way a company could know what to do with their product and if that product is even good for consumers.

How can you use surveys in simple day to day life?

Well simply implementing it as one core component of decision making. What do I mean by that? Well for example if you can’t choose between 2 things for example 2 different cars a Chevrolet and a Ford, you can make a survey between your friends the more complicated it is the most valuable points will pop up in taking a decision.

One way I used a survey system in real life goes like that.

My girlfriend felt that she looked ugly, however, I was there to give her a hug and a survey that disproved her self-alleged claim based on low self-esteem that she is ugly. Basically I explained to her a bit about “locker room talking” I know I know, you can’t tell girls about that. Well, I couldn’t explain her why we talk like that about them and overall girls when we do that. I just went with well we don’t know why we say most things when we do that and we don’t mean it in a bad way but we are honest when locker room talking. I also told her that my friends are dead-honest about girls appearance and I showed her how they talked about different girls that they’ve dated and are currently dating.

So I asked them all about her and screenshot their answers, and because she is very beautiful actually they all said positive things about her appearance.

The survey showed 100% positive feedback on her appearance and I showed it to her and she didn’t have anything negative to say about herself, I just proved my point without her having any way of proving the opposite. So she felt so special, loved(because I did all that for her) and that instantly fixed her self-esteem problem.

Well after that she slept with one of my friends…

If you wish you can actually really implement surveys in your everyday life start off with this survey and I promise I will publish more posts showing you how to use surveys to earn rewards and make money in your free time!
