Your imagery and cherry picking does what could have been a worthy subject no justice. You could have just summed it up with I don’t like guns or the President and been done with it and saved me the two minutes. You did ask for opinion so I will give it.

I read a cherry picked statistic a few years ago about dental flossing that stated “ people that floss live 5 years longer than those that don’t”. The obvious problem with this is it does not take into account many other factors that lead to a person performing good dental hygiene. People who floss are more than likely health conscious, of an income that allows them to see medical professionals, not addicted to drugs or alcohol and probably live in a nation where you can actually buy floss and maybe even a toothbrush. Point being without taking other contributing factors into something complex shows a poor understanding human dynamics or an agenda.

Let’s list some contributing factors that affect fatality rates:

By any study you care to look at children raised in single parent households are more likely to have high risk behavior resulting in a higher mortality rate to include suicide.

Poverty; 21% of all children in the US live below the poverty line.

Alcohol use is a huge contributing factor in virtually ever fatality statistic.

Illegal and prescription drug use.

The War yeah the War there is one going on.

If you look at any hard numbers from eight long years you will only a few numbers that standout from President Obama: Gun Sales rose 192%, Solar and Wind Energy rose 369%, Crude Oil production rose 77%, Coal Production fell 38%. The loss of Coal Production devastated a region and obviously led to more contributing factors to risk. A modest reduction of 11% in violent crime with an increase of gun sales of 192% hardly leads one to think that Americans owning guns is the problem; but hey you have the agenda and you are the doctor.

I could easily say from statics and personal experience the Obama years were not good for a lot of Americans and that was a contributing factor. I could say Herion use is was up dramatically among youth or a rise in suicides during President Obama’s tenure. Drastic increase in gun sales, Herion use and suicide all indications of a cancer and a general self loathing that I think was perpetuated during those eight long years.

I am way overthinking my GED here the blame is squarely on guns and Trump. Yeah Doc let’s all take a Motrin and move out and draw fire.
