Love it when a man tells me I’m overthinking things because he, you know, doesn’t think about things. Like, obviously he’s right. That’s where we have to start from. The man is right. He is thinking exactly the right thing and thinking about that thing the exact right amount. I, as a woman, can only be right if I think exactly what the man is thinking. Thinking more than the man is, that is to say, thinking about it at all, is wrong. Thinking won’t actually lead to changing the crap that’s bothering me because blindly doing whatever they feel like and not thinking is just how men are. If women talked about their suffering, then men might have to think about it. And that’s too much thinking. Men are right; thinking is wrong. Obviously if I were smarter, I would be thinking less and then I could be right sometimes, too.
