Bonaverde is looking for a highly motivated Personal Assistant to the CEO to help bring their coffee revolution to the next level, starting September 2017.

Who we are:

A small, dedicated team of young, sleepless (but caffeinated!) Berliner entrepreneurs on a mission to change the way coffee is perceived, traded and prepared.

By selling green raw coffee beans directly from farmers to consumers, Bonaverde aims to revolutionize the second biggest commodity market in the world. Our connected coffee marketplace makes farmers become faces, giving them the opportunity to build their own brands.

Bonaverde developed the world‘s first roast-grind-brew coffee machine to shift the roasting process to the customer and enable everyone to roast their own coffee with a single push of a button.

Why we need you:

Bonaverde is a start-up with a big goal: establish a new way of consuming coffee. A core part of this vision is our state-of-the-art, IOT-infused roast-grind-brew coffee machine, which allows consumers to roast their raw green coffee beans according to their individual roasting preferences.

The IOT component allows for new interaction options with the consumer and allows a variety of possible databased services for private and commercial users.

The machine is already in serial production, and the first few thousand devices are on their way to consumers in North America, Europe, and across the globe. Production facilities are based in China.

The Founder and CEO is looking for a personal assistant to help streamline projects, organisational planning and growth. He needs an initiative-taking problem solver able to relieve some of the organisational workload so he can concentrate on business development and strategic planning.

You will lead and organize the CEO’s office independently and assist him in any operational and organisational tasks. Responsibilities include managing projects, meetings, events, and business trips, preparing pitch decks and presentations, taking over some external and internal communication, and following up, reconfirming and running after agreed deadlines with partners and employees. All this and more in a highly dynamic and constantly moving environment full of fun and great opportunities!

Who you are:

  • You love to bring structures to dynamic fields and free minded persons.
  • You have the startup DNA in you and a great spirit.
  • You love coffee, but also planning, coordinating and delivering high quality in a timely manner.
  • You are more than confident with numbers and always take them into account when taking a decision.
  • You know how to think outside of the box, multitask and get things done proactively.
  • You believe in our concept and vision — and in yourself.
  • You work and think internationally and interculturally

What you have achieved:

  • You have earned a commercial degree or similar training.
  • Working experience as an assistant in the startup or art industry or as a project manager in an international environment.
  • Technical understanding in the IOT sector may be helpful, but is not required.
  • Secure and competent appearance even under pressure.
  • You know how to structure a free minded person while under pressure. You keep a level-head in high-stress environments
  • Distinct communication skills as well as experience with demanding business partners
  • You have experience in negotiating contracts with third-party entities and maintaining sustainable relationships.
  • Preparing docs and information for accounting is no problem for you
  • You are flexible and able to travel. Negotiating on an international level is no brainer to you.
  • You can speak and write fluently in German and English plus ideally in Spanish.
