“When you’re accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression”

The “I have a friend” argument is not really solid, don’t you think? Also, being US-born doesn’t give you special powers or a privilege towards other human beings (pretty much like having a penis doesn’t make you smarter, or stronger, or more deserving), nor should be factored in when a global organisation like Microsoft is hunting for talents. The sooner you realise this, the sooner you will see the truth that Microsoft, while surely having its own issues (every company has) is today one of the top places for technical talent to work, and Ballmer’s leadership wasn’t a disaster at all (in fact, he grew revenue enormously, just not in the right and sustainable direction).
