What is BONKmas?
BONKmas is a special holiday event celebrating the one-year anniversary of BONK by rewarding loyal, engaged holders and highlighting key partnerships and utility across the Solana ecosystem.
When will BONKmas take place?
The 12 Days of BONKmas will officially kick off on December 12th and end December 23rd. The claim date window will be open from December 24th 5pm UTC to December 31st 5pm UTC.
How does BONKmas differ from the original BONK airdrop?
BONKmas is a celebration of BONK as the social layer and utility token of Solana. This holiday special event will focus on rewarding ongoing support for BONK by placing community memmbers onto the Naughty or Nice list based on their loyalty and rewarding participation within the BONK ecosystem.
What are the criteria to be eligible for BONKmas rewards?
Being on the BONKmas Nice List requires having a read-only linked profile to Twitter following our BONK Twitter account, and owning over 1 Million $BONK in each wallet as of our Santa’s secret November 30th wallet snapshot. As a special bonus, if Santa had you on his list and missed you last year, he’s added you to this BONKmas to participate in the festivities.
What if my $BONK was deposited into a partner DeFi platform?
If you had BONK deposited in GooseFX SSL, used it as collateral on Dual, or lended it/locked into Earn on marginfi and it was more than 1 Million $BONK during the time of the snapshot, you are eligible with a qualified wallet.
Note that this does not include other DeFi integrations (such as Kamino or Orca )— user’s $BONK must have been deposited into one of the platforms mentioned in the above paragraph to be eligible.
What are the rewards for participating in BONKmas?
Rewards will be determined by how Nice you are on the BONKmas List and will be drawn from a predetermined pool of BONK, with individual claim caps in place. The more loyal you are and the more participation you have, the more rewards you can earn from BONKmas.
What is the Naughty or Nice checklist?
This checklist includes various interactions and activities within the BONK ecosystem, helping categorize users based on their engagement and loyalty.
Can participants track their Naughty or Nice status throughout the 12 days of BONKmas?
Santa has carved out time with his helpers on the18th to see your progress on the Nice List and finally on the 23rd. All are updated before they are finalized, packaged up and sent away for the holiday claim.
Are there any specific requirements for the Twitter accounts linked to user profiles?
Yes, Twitter accounts must be over one month old. This requirement aims to discourage sybil attempts and ensure genuine user participation for real reward structuring. You can’t fake community and BONKmas will only reward our real active and loyal holders. The Twitter connection will be read-only to minimize the amount of data provided by users. Rest assured, any information regarding Twitter accounts will be exclusively reviewed internally and never shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Can users join BONKmas after it has started?
Yes, community members can join at any time before the Naughty and Nice list closes on the 23rd. However, the eligibility for rewards will be based on active, loyal holders before the start of the event, including the wallet snapshot taken on November 30th.
How are the reward tiers structured?
The Nice List will be structured based on the community members engagement and loyalty and will be nicer to those who have fun with us across the BONK ecosystem before Santa’s final snapshot on the 23rd.
What will you do with my profile data?
We will track the activity during 12 days of BONKmas to see who made the Naughty and Nice List and worked their way up through the activities with our partners. In the future, BONK may continue to track who was loyal with their BONKmas gifts and may create future rewards for remaining engaged in the BONK ecosystem.
What if I don’t qualify this year?
Don’t worry if you missed the Nice List for BONKmas, Santa will be hard at work to keep his ‘Naughty or Nice’ list going into 2024. Santa loves giving rewards and a good celebration, so we wouldn’t be surprised if he visits the BONK community again early in 2024!
Why is my checklist not updating?
Santa and his team are busy but there will be an updated snapshot of how nice you are on the list on December 18th and the final snapshot on December 23rd.
Will I be penalized for not doing every activation?
There are no penalties for not doing every activity. There will still be time to show Santa during the 12 Days of BONKmas to engage in some of the BONK activities. The nicer you are by participating in more of the holiday activities, the nicer the rewards may be for you during BONKmas!
What are the details to claim BONKmas rewards?
Community members need to setup an ID before the 23rd on our special event website. Claim date period starts December 24th at 5pm UTC and end December 31st at 5pm UTC. Loyal members with IDs will have before the end of the year before the rewards vanish like 2023.
