It is also human nature to think, “how can I help others?”, “how can I be of service?” The two are not at odds with each other, but instead it is AND. Collective Impact is a relationship and in relationships, there must be an element of exchange, otherwise people burn out, quit because they need to have their needs and wants met, or feel resentment.
