Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! Seriously, it was awesome. The characters were real, with problems that actually happen to real people. Not to mention that the guy’s description made him sound hotttt ;).

Summary:
Jessie has had an awful year. Her mother has died, leaving a void that is always brought to the forefront of her mind by anything and everything that happens. Her dad suddenly eloped with a woman that Jessie has never met, and then he moved them halfway across the country to move in with her.
Suffice it to say, Jessie is not happy. Her stepbrother doesn’t like her, her new school is a super rich private school, and for whatever reason, she is the target of the most popular girl’s sadistic comments. All she wants is to go home.
But on the first day of school, she gets an email. The author refuses to give his identity, but calls himself Somebody/Nobody, or SN for short. He gives her information to survive the school, and Jessie feels herself slowly falling for him. Gradually, Jessie starts to find her place in this world, making new friends, getting a job, and beginning to actually understand her new family.
She and SN are getting closer, but he still won’t tell her his identity. And when they finally meet each other, will they survive the collision of real life and life on the internet?
My Opinion, etc. (watch for spoilers)
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG I SHIP IT SOOOOOOOOO HARDDDDDD. Jessie and SN are sooooooooooooo cute. Ugh. #relationshipgoals. And no, I’m not gonna tell you who it is, only that I thought it was pretty obvious as I read the book.
That’s not a bad thing, by the way. While I had guessed who SN from early on, Jessie was confused enough about his identity to throw me off every now and then. I noted some good dramatic irony (Thanks for the vocab, Comm Arts) in the book.
Anywho, back to SN and Jessie. They both are nerds, like to read, and had recently lost a close family member. Both are trying to recover, and look to each other for help. I think they make a very cute couple, and that they support each other very well.
Ok, I’m going to mention a side character in the book. His name is Liam, and he sounds like a total sweetheart. He plays the guitar, can sing really well, and he works at the same spot? that Jessie does. He had just broken up with his evil girlfriend at the end of the book, and I WOULD BE SO HAPPY IF I COULD READ ABOUT HIS LOVE STORY TOO. I’m looking at you, Julie Buxbaum.
Anyway, that’s all we’ve got for now. If you want to offer constructive criticism or if we’ve reported something wrong from the book, please comment below, and don’t be afraid to tap that heart.
