Editor of the Record:
The people of Mossville had a cleanup day at the graveyard last Saturday. I wrote a little poetry of the affair. If you will print it in your paper I will be very grateful.

CLEAN-UP-DAY AT MOSSVILLE CEMETERY
The graveyard at Mossvile
Had long been neglected:
On Saturday last a large
Crowd there collected.
With Shovels and picks
And tools that were needed,
The ground was tore up
And much of it seeded.
They toiled and labored
With pleasure and glee,
And did other business
Right up to a T.
Lewis Creveling had died
So had Moss J. T.
Casper Griedly was left
The only trustee.
Ruben Creveling was named
To fill first vacant space,
He and Friedly another
Will soon put in place.
The Pennington Post
Some flags gave out.
I. N. Mingus was delegated
To place them about.
The dinner they served
Was surely immense,
The proceeds will go
To buy a new fence.
To buy some tools
And a shed to cover them
Some money was collected;
Will soon be erected.
To those who sent money,
We would like to say,
It was wisely spent
Before the close of the day.
You may call it a f relic,
A bee or a spell,
The imporvement made
Would be hard to tell.
But seeing is beleiving,
When passing this way
Just gaze at the cemetery
In its new array.
