Killed By Corn Chopper 1915

The bursting of a corn chopper at Savage Hill, near Orangeville, Monday, instantly killed Henry Heid, a bachelor farmer aged 40, and injured his brother Jered. The two brothers were operating the mill when it went to pieces by the dropping of a nut. When the machine flew to pieces one of these struck Henry disembowelling h im. Jered escaped the plying pieces of the machine and was not seriously hurt.
