Yes. I’m in complete control of how I spend my time. I have control over whether I go to work and make barely enough money to provide for my kids and me. I have control over traffic jams that add an hour to my commute. I have control when my father gets ill and I have to take him to the hospital.

You need a reality check.

For someone pursuing a Ph.D. in psychology, you seem to be awfully damn ignorant about one of the primary symptoms of depression. But depression is just “all in your head,” right? It’s not a recognized disease for which some (not enough) medical treatments are available.
