BOOL Network’s Bi-Weekly Update: Issue 2

How is it going, guys? The BOOL Network team has already made a big step forward during the past two weeks. Our development team is moving steadily to integrate Solana and Bitcoin with our existing EVM-compatible interoperability platform. The marketing division is actively seeking new collaboration opportunities with various market participants. In addition, as the Chinese Spring Festival is approaching, we wish our friends from the Chinese community a happy and prosperous new year!
Although BOOL is a highly technical protocol and we have solid confidence in the underlying that powers it, we are aware that the community is the utmost accelerator to boost a Web3 protocol and hence seriously bring every worthy suggestion to the table to bring BOOL to a better tomorrow. To have a stronger connection with the community, we decided to constantly update the comprehensive development history of BOOL, including progressive achievements, significant milestones, and even unprecedented errors we have made.

Technology
[On-chain infrastructure layer]
- Setting up the environment for smart contract development on Solana Testnet.
- Implemented the account structure definition.
- Finished the cross-chain arbitrary message input and output modules.
[Off-chain messaging module]
- Supported the independent verification of cross-chain sent from Bitcoin under SPV mode.
- Enhanced monitor module to decrease risks from third-party node providers.
- Researching another TEE development framework provided by Occlum to address a specific incompatibility issue.
Ecosystem
- Optimizing the market strategy and the business model and we expect to share more details in the coming few weeks.
- On Jan 12th, we collaborated with Binary DAO to host an AMA on the topic of “Decentralized Private Key Solutions based on MPC, ZKP, and TEE”.
