Shocking Revelations About, The Occult, Ghosts and Monsters…. Real, or Imagined?

Okay, maybe not “Shocking” and perhaps not so much of a “Revelation, but I’m having a real problem with this topic, and after reading this through, maybe you all can help me figuring out if this stuff is real, or not.

I spent some time this past week, mainly because of this damn semi lockdown and personal paranoia about going outside, catching up on some “The Truth About Beer and…”, podcasts. If you haven’t done so, go to YouTube.com, or Stitcher.com to watch. If you LOVE beer, and strange, interesting topics, these podcasts are not to be missed. These guys discuss various microbrews from around the world, but the truly interesting part of their shows come from their analysis on all kinds of different topics. My favorite areas deal in the occult, monsters and weird crap like that. Shoutout to @keithdavidson, @papjoeystay and @timrice. Fun and interesting stuff. Do check it out.

Now when it comes to the netherworld, ghosts, goblins and the like, I sort of have an agnostical (I’m making that word up here) attitude towards the occult, and the dark sciences. I’m not sure what to believe. My wife swears that this stuff exists. Me, I can go either way. I mean who hasn’t sat around a campfire and had the begeezus scared out of them by the tale of the “The Hook”, “The Hitchhiker” or ghost stories? Perhaps the reason we get scared is because, it could be true?

There are tales about Gettysburg, PA being the most haunted place in North America.
