Copy files

If you don’t have access to a formatted floppy disk you can use the command line in MacOS:

Insert Disk and pull up a terminal

type in diskutil list to see where your target drive is

type in diskutil unmountDisk to unmount your target drive (mine is disk3)

to format type in

sudo newfs_msdos -F 12 -0 “MPC2000 “ -f 1440 disk3 (or your target drive)

enter your password and copy the files to the disk

eject and boot your MPC2000
