Approximately 1,000 Jobs and $150m Investment Expected to Head to Region

EL PASO — October 5, 2020 — Today, The Borderplex Alliance, the City of El Paso and El Paso County, announced The TJX Companies, Inc. plans to open a distribution center in El Paso. TJX is the leading off-price apparel and home fashions retailer in the U.S. and worldwide.

TJX expects to build a distribution center that may be up to two million square feet at a total investment of approximately $150 million, and create approximately 1,000 full-time jobs in the Borderplex region once the facility is fully operational.
