To My Poetry Readers

Thank you all for reading and responding to my work. The poems I have published here were composed between 2013 and 2015 and represent what I consider to be my best work. (Sorry I’m not really as prolific as my almost daily posts make it seem.)

I only have a handful more previously written poems to post, but I have several works in progress, including a set of odes inspired by and modeled on John Keats’ 1819 odes and a set of lyrical pieces inspired by three Beethoven piano sonatas. From now on the poetry you read will be recent creations, but they will be fewer and further between.

I am a music teacher at a public school. School will be starting again in about a month. Also (and more importantly), my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl one week ago today, so my time for reading and writing will be diminished for a while.
