Does Heaven & Hell Really Exist?

From the very beginning, God, the creator of the heavens and the earth, also created the eternal realms known as Heaven and hell. In His likeness, God made humanity, but due to the transgression of the first man, Adam, before God, all individuals are destined to experience physical death once.

The book of Hebrews states, “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). Death, in the context of our mortal bodies, becomes the gateway to eternal life.

Those who are without sin will enter the everlasting realm of Heaven, and enjoy their identity as beloved children of God.

Is the Lake of Fire Same as Hell Fire?

According to the Book of Revelation, sinners will be cast into “the lake of fire and brimstone” (Revelation 20:10), where they will endure perpetual torment.

Hence, the need for all of humanity to be spiritually born-again. Through faith, be redeemed from sin, and attain righteousness. Only then can we embark on the journey towards the eternal Kingdom of Heaven.

The word of God says,

“Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God”

(John 3:5).

It is only by being born again, of water and the Spirit, that we can gain entry into God’s eternal Kingdom.

Why Will Some People End Up in Hell?

True liberation from sin is solely attainable by standing firm against and triumphing over false teachings. Since we are born with sin, succumbing to erroneous doctrines will render us prisoners of Satan, bound by sin, and ultimately destined for hell. Therefore, God admonishes each one of us to overcome our spiritual adversaries on the path to salvation.

An apt analogy can be drawn from certain animals, like lions or tigers, who train their cubs by purposefully nudging them down a hill and encouraging them to climb back up unaided. Only those cubs who successfully make it back up the hill are nurtured further.

Similarly, God has bestowed upon us the gospel of the water and the Spirit. It is only through the relentless struggle against false teachings, armed with this gospel, that God grants us access to Heaven.

What Is the First and Second Death In The Bible?

In the Bible, the concept of the first and second death is introduced. The first death refers to the demise of our physical bodies, while the second death signifies spiritual death through eternal damnation in hell. For the righteous, there may be martyrdom, physical death, but they will never experience spiritual death.

Revelation 2:11

“11He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who overcomes will not be harmed by the second death.”

However, numerous Christians remain unaware of or have yet to encounter the gospel of the water and the Spirit, leaving them unable to liberate themselves from the clutches of sin. God assures us that He will save those who believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, fighting valiantly against and triumphing over false doctrines. He promises that those who conquer will remain unharmed by the second death.

“He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” Only to those who overcome will God give a new life and His New Kingdom. As we have two ears, we hear two different stories — that is, we hear both the truth and the false at the same time. Between the Word of God and that of Satan, our destiny is determined by whose word we accept and whose word we reject.

“He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” Only those who emerge triumphant will be bestowed with a new life and entry into God’s New Kingdom. As we possess two ears, we simultaneously hear two different narratives — the truth and falsehood. Our destiny hinges on the acceptance or rejection of God’s Word in contrast to the words of Satan.
