Day 1 MULU NATIONAL PARK, DEER AND LANG CAVES (D)

Arrive Mulu airport and transfer to the National Park accommodation for check in and there on free at leisure. In the afternoon, walk along a 3 km plank walkway to the Deer cave which has the world’s largest cave passage with 150 meters wide and 120 meters high at the entrance and 90 meters is its lowest at any point in the cave. Deer cave has a moonscape features and from a certain perspective point, a perfect profile of President Abraham Lincoln can be seen.

Just next to the Deer cave is the Lang cave. Here, observe its amazing features of stalactites and stalagmites said to be the best limestone formation in this National Park. Before retracing your walk back to the resort, stop at the Bat Observatory Platform next to the Deer caves to witness the exodus of bats flying out from the caves in search of food just before dusk. Overnight at the park.

Day 2 MULU NATIONAL PARK, WIND AND CLEARWATER CAVES (B,L,D)

With breakfast done, next destination is the Wind Cave with its majestic and imposing “King’s Chamber”. Later, a walk along a 250 concrete slabs with the limestone cliff beside takes guests to the entrance of the Clearwater Cave. Learn and observe unique plants here such as the one-leaf plant said to be endemic to Mulu. A photo sensitive Algae is also found here that produces needle like formations that points to the source of light. Clearwater Cave has stunning pool surrounded by huge trees, thus providing natural cover from the sun. Swim or just enjoy your packed lunch here before the trip back to the park accommodation.

Day 3 MULU NATIONAL PARK AND AIRPORT (B)

Enjoy your breakfast before the drop off at the airport for your flight to your next destination.
