gm gm gentlemen, Borpa was born from a profound desire to honor the web3 industry, reflecting the countless hours I’ve poured into it. My idealistic dream was to merge the richness of the crypto culture with the viral potential of DeFi concepts.
After 1 year of intense work and several pivots, I contacted Entangle six months ago with our full EVM code, technical documentation, UI/UX, lore and strategy. We decided to adapt my work in an omnichain framework to maximize the virality created.
Unfortunately, due to a series of serious misconducts from our former partner, we have decided to do what’s best for the community and continue independently.
This separation was a difficult but necessary decision. It was a painful decision, but through the pain, I realized something very important. I had been wrong all along. When I started Borpa, I thought the market was very much cynical and would only care about the price. Despite the poor price performance, we continued to receive overwhelming support from our community. Crypto is more than just some candles on a chart — it’s a way for pure weirdos (like myself) to connect through culture and ideals. This unfortunate event was the missing key to understand what truly matters.
What’s the utility about? The utility is culture.
Back To The Basics
Borpa was built under the promises of being “The Next Generation Memecoin”. A truly beautiful thing that could only happen with truly beautiful partners.
These episodes have made me realize how disconnected I was from the reality of the industry I was building in. The core concept of a memecoin is simple and viral, designed to be easily accessible. This experience has been a true ego death, and it’s time to embrace what truly makes a memecoin visible: its community.
New Token Distribution
We are all about unifying all the different communities of the space and doubling down on what makes people come back to our project: the beloved Borpa mascot.
Our original tokenomics featured 1 billion tokens divided into different tranches and vesting periods. The largest tranche, amounting to 410,000,000 BORPA, was allocated to Liquidity Mining Incentives. With our new positioning, we’ve decided to redistribute that supply to the community —equivalent to a glorious 41% token burn. The new $BORPA token will emphasize simplicity: Circulating Supply = Total Supply.
Several token snapshots (Solana, Ethereum, BNB, Base, Arbitrum) were taken on July 3rd between approximately 2 to 4 AM UTC+2. We also included unclaimed tokens from all different rounds in the snapshots.
To maintain our original 1 billion supply, if you had liquid $BORPA or unclaimed $BORPA at the time of the snapshot, you will receive all your tokens on the migration page, along with a 1.69x multiplier if you are a loyal Borpa supporter. If you bought or provided liquidity during the 6-hour window between the snapshot and the official Twitter announcement, you will be able to open a ticket and request compensation.
Due to the reworking of the tokenomics, modifications of the TGE and controlling sniping wallets through the multisig, we now have a significantly larger share of the total supply. With about 30% of the total supply under team control, Borpa is well-positioned to bounce back stronger, enabling us to forge numerous partnerships and create attractive incentives.

In the coming days, you will be able to connect to our migration page and enter your Solana or EVM address to claim the new $BORPA token. With Borpa’s rebirth, we’re embracing a radically different approach: the entire circulating supply will equal the total supply.
Memecoins are all about simplicity and accessibility, and we are committed to advancing in that direction. We’re fully repositioning our brand, preparing both the backend and frontend for the migration, and aligning several partners to support our relaunch. The migration is set to occur by July 19th, and we have many exciting developments lined up for you.
