Jeff Bridges, in full Jeffrey Leon Bridges, (born December 4, 1949, in Los Angeles, California, U.S.), American actor known for his good looks, laid-back personality, and versatility. Jeffrey Bridges, son of actor Lloyd Bridges, made his acting debut at age eight in Sea Hunt (1958), a television series in which his father starred.
After graduating from University High School in Los Angeles, he served in the Coast Guard reserves and later moved to New York City to study acting at the Herbert Berghof Studio.
