It’s People Plus Machines

If I remember it right, a newspaper — is it the New York Times ? — recently published an op-Ed article by a specially trained robot, and observed that the readers could not discern it was not written by human. The article was also of good quality, complete with data and insight. This makes me really scared out of my wits. Are the robots going to be the future of journalism? If a robot can do a man’s job so well, who among the newspaper barons would be interested in human being as writers? Robots as content-creators would be just fine for them. Has the dystopia already set in or is it on the way? Vikram, what’s your take?
