dCommerce Meetup #6 — Towards a Tokenized Economy of Things

We’re holding our next dCommerce Meetup on Thursday 28th October 2021 in Decentraland — and we couldn’t be more excited to invite you all along to participate.

To begin, this will be the very first time we get to host you all in Portal, Boson Protocol’s own custom-designed event space in Decentraland. Yes, we know we’ve had meetups in Decentraland before — like our last Meetup; Open Metaverse Commerce, which we held in the Crypto Valley Conference Center — but this one is different because we are so happy to debut what we have been building in our own space! With the imminent launch of v1 of Boson Protocol on Ethereum’s mainnet, we’re devoting most of the meetup to a panel event which invites some of the most senior members of the Boson team to look ahead to what v2 of the protocol has in store. This is a major milestone for the team: the v1 launch is a prequel to a fully fledged version of the protocol which will be announced next year.

Don’t miss the panel if you want to find out how Boson Protocol represents the core infrastructure for an open tokenized economy, connecting smart contracts to real-world commerce. This month we’ll be joined by Boson Protocol Founders Justin Banon and Gregor Borosa, along with Head of Strategy Jonas Seiferth and Cliff Hall, Tech Lead for the protocol team. They will be discussing the protocol implementation and you’ll get your chance to put your questions to them ahead of what is sure to be an exciting month for everyone in the Boson community.

We’ll also be explaining how we are upgrading the current Bug Bounty Program — applicable to the protocol deployed on Rinkeby, one of Ethereum’s test nets — to an even more generous scheme, and we’ll be reminding you of our Grants Program for development teams who want to build on top of the protocol.
