NiftyKey, powered by Boson Protocol, announces partnership with Geogram
NiftyKey, the crypto rewards platform powered by Boson Protocol, is delighted to announce a partnership with Geogram, the spatial software and solutions developer, integrating digital and physical worlds.
Geogram makes reality clickable, bringing cryptocurrencies and smart contracts into the heart of the retail experience. Geogram provides a Digital Twin of a location as a mirror image hosted in the cloud. Using real time communications, Geogram synchronizes the Digital Twin with physical products and events at the location to create new user experiences.
NiftyKey is a crypto-rewards and loyalty platform that enables traditional and crypto businesses to enhance and differentiate their value proposition by offering real-world products and services as rewards to their customers using non-fungible tokens (NFTs). NiftyKey’s unique capability is to take real world assets and experiences as used in loyalty and other consumer-facing programmes, and set them free from legacy loyalty systems, for flexible use across a universe of connected brands, merchants and peers.
Until now, cryptocurrencies and smart contracts have been largely limited to transactions within the decentralised ecosystem. Mainstream adoption has been hindered by the lack of an easy-to-use interface. By literally making reality clickable, Geogram integrates the invisible processes of decentralised systems into daily activities, while enhancing everyday experiences with the immediacy and personalization we have come to enjoy online. For its DLT partners, Geogram’s unique interface promises to drive mass adoption
Geogram and NiftyKey will collaborate to explore integrating crypto rewards into digital twins of various environments that enhance onsite experiences for users. At a Geogram-enabled airport, for example, a passenger would be led by augmented reality wayfinding to passport control, then the quickest way through security, and from there on to their gate for immediate boarding. If the passenger has time to spare, they could be offered time-specific vouchers for use at shops or restaurants within the terminal. Making a purchase can be as easy as pointing a smartphone camera at an item and clicking on it. A smart contract would register the time and place of the transaction and trigger delivery of the item.
As a connection between the virtual and the physical, Geogram acts as the interface to integrate partner-branded NiftyKey loyalty and rewards programmes, offering an immediacy to the experience. In the case of airports these could be used to power customer incentives underpinning higher value exchanges like the use of executive lounges or flight upgrades.
“Geogram’s potential to enhance user experiences in a wide range of environments is a huge untapped opportunity. NiftyKey is proud to partner with Geogram to provide NFT based rewards and incentives that can further enhance those experiences”
