I agree to a point, there definitely should be more diversity in the ideologies of college professors. But regardless of which way they lean, I’ve always preferred educators who say something like “I dislike Trump and this is why. What do you think?” rather than those who say “Trump is bad.” They should be there to open the minds of the students and allow for critical thinking, not to indoctrinate them.

I attended a New England liberal arts school (and majored in Public Policy & Government) where debate and free thought was always encouraged. To this day, my former professor won’t tell us his ideology (though I think I’ve figured it out). Unfortunately, I get the sense that not everyone shares that experience.
