Ok, that’s hyperbole. If anything’s ruining college basketball it’s the NCAA and their insistence on profiting off of athletes (to the tune of billions of dollars — with a “B”) and not paying them a dime, but that’s neither here nor there.

You probably read about U of I professor Jay Rosenstein who was just put on leave for taking non-consensual recordings of someone in the State Farm Center bathrooms during Monday night’s Illini basketball game. The professor, who was arrested, was not charged with any crime, though The News-Gazette reports he “allegedly admitted videotaping a person in a public restroom.”
