It’s also a bit crap to define my entire generation as defining success according to social media stats. I don’t buy it. We are also the generation that said “no” to the great fashion carousel and just started wearing second hand everything (sure, plenty of “hipsters” are just in it because it’s cool, but it’s cool because in its pure form it is quite genuine).

We should be defined by the stuff that has been removed from us: social safety net, any sense that the police and people in power are on our side, any hope of stability when it comes to thinking in decades. Oh, and a country that didn’t consider political bribery a form of free speech.
