Hi Usama, So what is Botsify?
Botsify is tool for people who wants to build an AI Chatbot but they don’t know coding, programming or any required skills in order to build a chatbot. Right now we have two chatbots for platforms — Facebook Messenger and Website. This is a huge market, as time passes and technology improves more and more people would want to have chatbot for their business. Chatbots can cut the wait time for your customers who have the same questions about your business.

Tell me more why you are building this?
When I created my first bot it took me 7 days to understand the basics, and pass all the technology hindrances. It was just a one liner bot, but it took me a week. For businesses who wants to have a chatbot fully functional and intelligent it’s 2–3 months of project with a lot of costs involved. I took it as an opportunity, and build a platform which can allow businesses to make a chatbot by themselves without having to know a lot of technical stuff.
How is Botsify different from what already exists in the market?
What makes Botsify different is it’s intelligence and ease of use. User automatically knows what he needs to do in order to build a chatbot and how he can make the most basic chatbot without any effort.
Existing platforms are trying to provide bit of chatbot on every platform (Facebook Messenger, Slack, Telegram Messenger, Kik) but we are an intelligent and user experience focused platform. We are first focusing on facebook messenger. Will make it exceptional, provide the best experience first and then we will move on to different platforms. This strategy also helps us to provide better support to our customers and users.
Can you tell us a bit about the different customer segments using Botsify?
Companies like Shazem, Sony Music, have used Botsify. We also have several media groups like Al Jazeera English from Middle East. Furthermore there is a big user segment who is using Botsify for Customer Support. Since Botsify is a platform focused on User Experience, Large Companies like Yayvo by TCS (one of Pakistan’s largest E-Commerce Platform) have used the platform. Botsify is being used by everyone from CEOs to CTOs.
How are your customers using Botsify? Could you share a few different use cases?
Yayvo are building a bot to increase their website conversion via the Chatbot. They provide order tracking to shopping using their Bot.
Al Jazeera is using Botsify for content marketing, when you talk to Al Jazeera Egypt Bot, it can send you top stories from their blog, and inbox it to you daily.
Have there been unique use cases for Botsify that you hadn’t thought of or expected?
One use case is email marketing leads. People are using it for marketing, launching deals, giveaways, promotions and collecting leads using Botsify Form Feature.
We have also helped a 500 Startups accelerator company build an AI Powered Chatbot, and they are helping people buy tickets via facebook messenger.
Were there any early ‘growth hacks’ or tactics that have contributed to your current success?
Yes, we have a 2 week’s feature launch cycle. If feature is really awesome we make sure we prepare for Product Hunt, we get all the content ready before we hunt it ourselves. We have been featured thrice on Product Hunt and it has brought us a lot of leads, users and also publications.
