Fixing Chrome related issues in Botsol Crawler App

Botsol’s Crawler App uses google chrome to automate websites and extract data. Recently google has launched another update for chrome and because of that update some of our users are getting error about opening the chrome browser from app. Although we have already launched version 7.4 of botsol crawler app that works well with latest chrome version, but still there can be issues because of the old setting stored on user’s pc.

Please follow the steps given below to fix this.

1: Uninstall current app and then download and install the latest app from here http://www.botsol.com/download?app=latest

After the new installation.

Click Help > About > Advanced Options (at bottom right)In Chrome Driver box, remove 76/74 and update.

Also make sure that you have the latest chrome, Follow the instructions here https://www.howtogeek.com/412273/how-to-update-google-chrome to update the chrome to latest version.

Now restart the app.
